Sitatunga Ranching & Safaris
Overview
Luawata Game Management Area is known as “The Crown Jewel” of all hunting in Zambia. Bordering in the South, it shares the Munyamadzi River with the well-known Nyampala GMA, the northern boundary is the famous North Luangwa National Park. The Luangwa River makes up the eastern boundary, with the Muchinga Escarpment to the west. The foothills of the Muchingas roll down gently over a distance of 60 km to the Luangwa River. Multiple smaller streams and thickets create a haven for species such as elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, Cookson’s Wildebeest, Roan, Impala and kudu. The riverine bush along the Luangwa River is the ideal habitat for Puku and Chobe Bushbuck. The river itself offers some of the finest hippo and crocodile hunting. Sitatunga Safaris boasts a team of well-known and salted professional hunters and safari staff. Our fully equipped Land Cruisers, together with experienced PH’s and trackers will insure a hunting experience that will last you a lifetime!
