Overview
Captain Allen grew up hunting and fishing the piedmont region of NC. Being from a family deeply rooted in the outdoors, his passion for hunting and fishing naturally developed at a young age. From the clear water flats of Topsail Island and Wrightsville Beach, to the stained nutrient rich waters surrounding Southport, the Cape Fear coast offers the saltwater angler a myriad of opportunities. This area provides excellent sight fishing opportunities year round for our favorite target, North Carolina’s state fish the Red Drum. Other seasonal species we target are Speckled Trout, Tarpon, Flounder, Black Drum, Sheepshead, Bluefish, Ladyfish, Tripletail, Mackerel, Amberjacks, Cobia, Sharks, and many others.
We also offer Cast & Blast trips for those seeking a fishing and wingshooting adventure on the same day. Clapper Rails (Marsh Hens) are a webless migratory game bird found in along our salt marshes. They are a sporty bird and offer a liberal bag limit of 15 per birds per hunter. With the right tides, we can combine any fall fishing trip for tailing redfish or other gamefish into a Cast & Blast trip. Please contact us for more info.
