Overview
Savé Valley Conservancy in South Eastern Zimbabwe is the largest privately owned reserve in Africa, home to the Big Five. Created in 1991, it is comprised of 21 adjacent properties with no internal fencing, totaling 900,000 acres. Savé Safaris has a concession totaling 70,000 acres within the conservancy, operating on both Matendrer and Gunundwe ranches. Savé Safaris has been in operation for 14 years and is run by Leon du Plessis and Mike Payne, whom between them, have over 30 years wildlife experience. We offer high quality, personalized safaris.
