Royal Jozini Private Game Reserve is situated in the south east of eSwatini (Swaziland) in a low-risk Malaria area just 9kms from the Golela border post near Pongola
Lake Jozini has a remarkable Tiger Fish population, a fish known to reach in excess of 9 kg. This exclusively African game-fish strikes hard and fights aggressively, making this type of fishing a favourite among adrenaline seekers.
(Please note that it is illegal to catch tigers to eat and all fish are caught on a catch and release basis.)
With its 27 species of fish, Lake Jozini promises an excellent opportunity for passionate fishermen. Reputedly the best freshwater fighting fish in the world, the Tiger Fish poses a memorable challenge but please do check with us on the water level of Lake Jozini.
