Overview
RiverSmithOutdoors is a fly-fishing and light tackle guide service in Northern Michigan. Fishing opportunities are available year around, there are many fishing areas with opportunities for all ages.
The Big Manistee and Muskegon Rivers are the main focus for steelhead from October to May. In late spring we also fish steelhead on the Au Sable River (May through early June). In the late summer/early fall we start chasing king salmon in the smaller rivers. The later parts of September we fish coho salmon when they start coming up to spawn.
