Northern Rockies Outfitters, Ltd. is owned and operated by Rich and Marcy Birdsell. Upon graduating with from the University of Montana in 1990, Rich made the fateful decision to spend a summer near Glacier National Park. It was here that his love of fishing and hunting flourished into a business. Rich started his guiding career in 1991 when he was hired by Glacier Raft Company in West Glacier, MT. He spent the next several summers guiding fly fishing trips, whitewater float trips, Bob Marshall wilderness horseback pack trips and fall hunting trips.
