Lepley Creek Outfitters

We have been licensed outfitters in the Big Belt Mountains of Montana since 1994. We hunt on around 40,000 acres of pine ridges and open hillsides for trophy deer and elk. This area that we hunt exclusively is tucked in against the Bear Tooth game range and three other large ranches. This private property, which sits at an elevation of 4,000-6,000 feet, allows these animals to become mature. In this area the elk herd has grown to be over 4500 head. In 2016 we had a hunter success rate of 75% on bulls that were six points or better. Our best bull taken on this ranch was a 7-point, record-book bull scoring 382 after deductions. Our Outfitter number is 5689 and if you look on a Montana map in the center of the triangle of Helena, Cascade and White Sulfur Springs -that remote area is our hunting country.
