The High Lonesome Ranch

The High Lonesome Ranch sits along the spine of the continent on the Western Slope of the Colorado Rockies. With mountain forests, grasslands, spring creeks, and alpine mesas at an altitude that ranges from 4,000 to 9,000 feet, the ranch is home to diverse wildlife and provides a vast playground for anglers and hunters. The Fall brings Cast & Blast and Fin & Feather Expedition trips, both of which are wing shooters’ and anglers’ favorites. We offer mixed-bag bird (chukar, pheasant, quail) hunts and the ranch is an Orvis Endorsed Fly Fishing Lodge, and all instructors are certified Orvis fly casting instructors and guides.
