Overview
Here at Gunnison Country Outfitters we are dedicated to providing a true Colorado backcountry experience in the Colorado high country. From our guided elk and deer hunts in the fall to our wilderness camping and fishing trips in the summer, we offer top notch service to all our clients.
Our main camp is located in GMU 55 just outside the town of Gunnison and where most of our hunts are operated where we offer Drop Camp Hunts, Fully Guided Base Camp Hunts and Primitive Backcountry Guided Hunts.
Fishing trips through Gunnison Country Outfitters are a unique and fantastic way to get out and enjoy one all of our favorite past times. These fishing trips take place deep in the Wilderness that can only be accessed by foot or horseback. This allows us to get to areas that hold some pristine trout fishing for beautiful cutthroat and brook trout.
