Overview
Alaska Wild Wind Adventures offer guided hunting opportunities in Alaska for Brown Bear, Moose and Dall Sheep. Alaskan Peninsula hunts are held in our guide-exclusive concession in the Katmai Preserve.
The large numbers of salmon that rear and spawn in our concession each fall are a critical food source that result in the excessively high numbers of brown bears that call our area home. With a limited amount of tags per year, we focus on trophy-sized boars in the 9½ to 10 foot plus range, with record book potential. Our land and animal stewardship result in some of the best brown bear hunting opportunities that one can expect. Focusing on high trophy quality combined with a very customized personal hunt, we will be offering up to two moose hunts in our area a year. The Katmai Preserve has harbored excellent trophy moose in the past and was proven this season. Outfitter Henry runs three different sheep camps a year. Being very selective on harvest, these areas offer high success and excellent opportunities at trophy rams in the 36” to 40” range.
